On Monday, Sept. 27 at 7:00 p.m we'll hold our first Climate Ministry meeting at St. Luke's Parish Hall (124 Orange St, Auburn). We'll get to know each other a bit and discuss the startup of our new monthly group.
We'll also screen a short new movie, Other Side of the Hill. This film is a hopeful, inspiring look at local leaders on the ground in rural America and finding common ground and new climate frameworks with rural voices -- which includes our own community. We learned some of the progressive, exciting work that is going on in Placer County from our panel at the July event.
Please bring your own ideas, interests, and inspiration on Monday, 9/27. Relax with a cookie and tea and get acquainted with others like yourself who care about creating a stable climate where we can live in right and just relationships with each other, interconnected with the natural world and the millions of other species who share our precious home.
