Our Community

We are a close-knit Christian community in Auburn, CA, part of the Episcopal Diocese of Northern California and the worldwide Anglican Communion. Our worship and teaching are rooted in the Anglo-Catholic witness within the Episcopal Church. Inspired by the Oxford Movement’s call to both a renewed Christian faith and a renewed concern for the poor and marginalized, we cultivate reverence and beauty in worship, work for justice and peace locally and internationally, and seek to include those who feel excluded from the Church and society.

We welcome your questions and your doubts. We’re eager to share the wisdom and love of Christ's Church with you.

This is the message we have heard from Christ and proclaim to you, that God is light and in him there is no darkness at all. ~ 1 John 1:5

The Kingdom of Hidden Things
In this sermon, we learn that Jesus Christ keeps secrets! There are hidden treasures in the Gospels and hidden truths in our own lives waiting to be revealed. Parables, it turns out, aren't just catchy stories. They are one of the surprising ways Jesus invites us into the truth of His Kingdom and tests our readiness to respond to His Gospel.
