We begin the penitential season of Lent on Wednesday, March 6, otherwise known as Ash Wednesday. On this day, we have our foreheads marked with ashes to remind us that we have come from ashes (dust) and to ashes we shall return. During Lent, we reflect on how we can be better disciples of Jesus Christ in our lives.
