The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are the heart of the Christian gospel, and for this reason, Good Friday and Easter are the two most significant celebrations of the Christian year. Lent is a season of preparation and repentance during which we anticipate these saving mysteries, modelled on Jesus’ forty-day sojourn in the wilderness.

 This year, our Lenten preaching series will attempt to explore and deepen the many facets of this season, reminding us that even in the midst of suffering and death, our hearts are centered on union with Christ.
