The Blessed Virgin Mary as an Icon of Prayer

This December, we will meet on Wednesday evenings at 5:45 p.m. to explore the relationship of the Blessed Virgin Mary to Christian practices of prayer and contemplation. If you wish, please bring images, statues, rosaries, prayer cards or other devotional items related to St. Mary for inclusion in an advent altar in our downstairs classroom.

The Contemplative Practices Study Group is followed by the Candlelight Centering Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. in the St. Luke’s sanctuary. You are welcome to attend one or both of these events.
