The Ten Commandments, also called Decalogue (Greek: deka logoi or “10 words”), are a list of religious precepts that, according to various passages in Exodus and Deuteronomy, were divinely revealed to Moses on Mt. Sinai and were engraved on two tablets of stone. They represent the heart of Biblical morality and are the cornerstone of Judeo-Christian culture.
This year the beautiful Ten Commandments in our sanctuary turn 100 years old! In honor of this occasion, we will explore each of the Ten Commandments and discover how these ancient words continue to shed light upon our path.
